Experienced Receptionist

Belfast Veterinary Care is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist with a minimum of 3 years' experience for our busy practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office procedures, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for animal care. Key responsibilities include managing client interactions, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.

Criteria
Essential Criteria:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a receptionist in a veterinary practice or similar environment.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise duties efficiently.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.

Proficiency in computer software, including appointment scheduling and basic office applications.

Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally charged environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client records, payments, and administrative tasks.

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings.

Interest in animal welfare and a compassionate approach to client interactions.

Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
